Ride along with Paul Revere. Catch a homer at a Red Sox game. Explore the Boston Harbor Islands and gasp at fireworks on the Charles River Esplanade. Enjoy these sights and sounds of Boston, and many more, with a loveable group of animal characters and a dozen wry limericks. Residents and visitors, young and old, will smile and giggle over these playful poems set in some of Boston's most cherished places.
Webster and I sign books at Boston Children’s Museum.
For more than ten years, I designed and produced childrens' entertainment and educational software, websites and videos. Now I spend my days drawing and painting everything from armadillos to zebras to homemade Pokemon cards for my son.
I graduated from Murray Tinkelman’s limited residency MFA program at Hartford Art School in July 2009. The program was a dream come true; to live and breathe art with incredible illustrators for 4 weeks a year - heaven! Please see the link below if you’d like to find out more information.
I didn’t choose to pursue illustration; it chose me. I do it because I simply can’t stop. It’s the way I think and approach life. Someone else sees an older lady sipping tea and doesn’t think twice. I see that lady and imagine a coiffed ostrich with pearls in a boiled wool suit and matching hat. Playing pretend never gets old!
